Dunhill Wood – Bristol
We are proud to have work on this unique 15,000 ft2 new build in Bristol, with Planning and Design, Building Regulations, Principal Designer and Project Management by Elcock Associates Chartered Surveyors.
The house has been designed to incorporate an oak frame and lifting swimming pool floor as well as sustainable and renewable energy sources.
Elcock Associates were responsible for preparing a full BIM ready package, so that each element of the build from the traditional oak frame down to the complex Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) installation can be fully detailed.
Project managed by Adam Elcock who commented ‘This is one of the largest and most complex Private Residences in the UK, our drive is to exceed the clients expectations for the finished home by delivering a world class build utilizing the latest in sustainable technologies, building methods and materials. This house will be a landmark in the area and one that both the client and Elcock Associates can be very proud of’.
This project involved us sourcing various materials such as the stone from Ireland, having visited the quarries and chosen the exact products and agreed how it is cut and laid, through to visiting suppliers and manufacturers in Europe to develop designs for the best in windows, doors and glass.
We are thrilled to see this phenomenal property finished to the highest standard. The house sits on over 9 acres of grounds and includes an aircraft hanger, stables, 6 car garage and a full automated lifting swimming pool floor.
