Elcock Associates is an independent Chartered Building & Quantity Surveying and Construction Consultancy practice based in Christchurch, Dorset. We pride ourselves in our work and the number of repeat clients and recommendations we receive. We offer no nonsense pragmatic and timely advice to aid and guide you in your project. Here at Elcock Associates, whilst Christchurch is our home, we offer our services along the South Coast, throughout Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Berkshire and up to London.
Who are we?
Adam Elcock – Director, RICS Registered Valuer and Building Surveyor.
I left school at 16 and joined the British Army where I travelled extensively around the world in an operational and training capacity. After 8 years I decided that a change of career was in order and left to join the big wide world. With a number of specialities to hand and with high level security clearance I gained a role within the MOD in a junior surveying capacity working my way up the ladder whilst also attending a distance learning course at the College of Estate Management at Reading University. In 2007 Elcock Associates Ltd was created and has steadily grown since.
I have memberships to a number of professional bodies including the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Chartered Institute of Building (COIB) and the Building Research Establishment (BRE). I specialise in Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Party Wall, Expert Witness and Project Management.
Laura Bampton – Senior Surveyor, MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor.
Laura is the latest addition to the company and brings with her a wealth of experience in the surveying and construction industry. Such specialisms as Planning & Design work, Access Statements for DDA Compliance, Party Wall, Contract Administration, CDM Co-ordination, Expert Witness.
Charlotte Tatham – Project Surveyor, Bsc (Hons), HND Building Surveying
Charlotte joined the company direct from Kingston University and impressed us from the start with her knowledge of the construction industry and general surveying duties. Areas of expertise are Contract Administration, CDM Co-ordination, Party Wall and Building Surveying.
Claire Elcock – Office Manager
Claire manages general office duties on a daily basis and keeps the company running smoothly.
